Tour Packages Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1400m).

Our support team will greet you at the airport with the company’s display board and escort you to your luxurious hotel room. You can spend the rest of the day resting or strolling around.

Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation

Your second day of 21 days Nar Phu Tilicho Lake Trek begins with a trip to the antique shrines of the Kathmandu Valley. You will visit Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath temple, Boudhanath temple and many other historical shrines of Kathmandu Valley.

Day 03: Drive to Besisahar (830m)

After breakfast, you take a picturesque 6 hour drive to Besisahar along the Prithvi Highway.

Day 04: Drive to Dharapani (1960m)

Today, the trail leading to Dharapani takes you through the hamlets of the old Annapurna Circuit. After breakfast, you will be driven for around 5 hours to Dharapani in a local bus.

Day 05: Trek to Koto (2600m).

Your real Nar Phu Tilicho Lake 21 Days Trek begins from Dharapani on this fifth day. From Dharapani, you will pass through Bagarchap and Danaque village, then trek to Manag,

You then take a simple climb to Temang traversing  beautiful forests. From Temang, the trail returns back to the road and passes via Thanchok village before finally reaching Koto.

Day 06: Trek to Dharmasala (3220m).

Leaving Koto, you enter a narrow valley and walk towards Nar Phu Valley. The trail follows Phu River, then slowly climbs up into the valley. Passing through the pristine forests and terraced landscapes, you reach Dharmasala and spend the night.

Day 07: Trek to Chaku (3772m).

The trail leading to Chaku passes  fabulous waterfalls and giant rock faces. You take a steep ascent until the terrain levels near the village of Juman. You then take a final steep ascent from the lower village of Chaku to the higher village.

Day 08: Trek to Phu (4050m)

Today, you take a steep downhill walk towards the river. You gradually part ways with the river to take an ascent to reach Phu village.

Day 09: Acclimatization day at Phu .

This 9th day of your 21 days Nar Phu Tilicho Lake Trek is a rest and acclimatization day at Phu. A short climb up the village treats you with the spectacular views of the valley.

Day 10: Trek to Nar (4150m)

From Phu, the route returns back to Chaku and passes the village. You then cross a bridge and ascend for around 8 hours to the village of Nar.

Day 11: Trek to Khang La Phedi (4530m).

Today, you embark on a steep ascent to  reach Khang La Phedi to spend the night.

A good rest is needed at Khang La Phedi as the trail now enters the higher altitudes.

Day 12: Cross Khang La (5280m) and trek to Ngawal (3670m).

Today, an early morning trek is essential to cross the Khang La pass. You get up early and begin to ascend to the crest of the pass. From the top of the pass, you follow the trail, which takes a sharp descent to the village of Ngawal. Today is the hardest and longest day of the Nar Phu Tilicho Lake 21 Days Trek.

Day 13: Trek to Manang (3540m).

Leaving Ngawal, you descend to the valley passing through the villages of Mugje and Braga. Here, you get to explore a beautiful monastery and modern facilitated teahouses. AFter you explore the village, you take an easy walk along the road and make the short climb up to Manag.

Day 14: Trek to Tilicho Base Camp (3734m).

Nar Phu Tilicho Lake 21 Days Trek’s trail splits from the Annapurna Circuit and moves into a different valley. You then descend to the river, before ascending towards Khangsar. From Khangsar, you hike along a grassy area, passing through a stream to reach the Tilicho Base Camp.

Day 15: Trek to Tilicho Lake (4949m).

Today, the trek begins with a sharp ascent and then turns into an easier climb. The trail provides s you with the stunning views of the mountains as you gradually  climb.

You get to explore the lake, before taking a brief walk to set up a camp on a rocky moraine to spend the night.

Day 16: Cross Tilicho Pass and trek to Yak Kharka (3510m)

Leaving the Camp early in the morning, you take a steep climb on a ridge. You then make several ups and downs to reach Yak Kharka. This is another hard day of hiking as you make steep ascents and descents for around 8 hours.

Day 17: Trek to Jomsom (2720m).

21 Days Nar Phu Tilicho Lake Trek’s trail takes you into the incredibly beautiful and windy Jomsom valley. Before arriving a Jomsom you take a long descent from Yak Kharka, however, the path gets easier at Thini.

Here, you can taste the fresh and yummy apple and apricot fruits. Taking a short hike to the Marpa Village is also another good option for you.

Day 18: Fly to Pokhara.

You pack up and take the earliest possible flight to Pokhara. It is a  mesmerizing flight on a clear day as you get to see the stunning f peaks and lakes, including the Fish Tail peak and the Phewa Lake.

Day 19: Sightseeing at Pokhara and fly back to Kathmandu.

You enjoy a half day guided trip to the famous sights of Pokhara and take the late afternoon flight back to Kathmandu.

Today, you will enjoy a half-day guided trip to many UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu valley.
