Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu

Day 2 Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Your second day on the Kathmandu and Pokhara 5 days tour will begin with the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. The capital city of Nepal presents a wonderful combination of various religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam.
After enjoying an early morning breakfast you will head towards Pashupatinath temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The complex of the temple has been listed as a UNESCO world heritage site since 1979. It is the holiest place for a Hindu in Nepal. You can witness the cremation ritual at the Aryaghat at the bank of holy river, Bagmati.
A short walk will take you to another destination of Kathmandu and Pokhara, which is Boudhanath stupa. One of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world, Boudhanath has been listed as a UNESCO world heritage site since 1979.

Upon reaching Pokhara, you will check in to your hotel. The majestic sight of snow-capped mountain peaks and the overall exquisite beauty of Pokhara will fill your heart with elation. You will be visiting popular tourist destinations including Phewa, Begnas and Rupa Lake. You will also visit the mystic cave of Mahendra Gupha, while listening to its historical significance.
The sightseeing program of Pokhara will take you to another main attraction of Pokhara, Davis Fall. It is a beautiful gorge of the Seti river and Tibetan refugee camp. The water of the Davis fall passes through a cave called Gupteshwor Mahadev.
Day 4: Fly/Drive to Kathmandu
The mode of transportation on the way back to Kathmandu is your choice. You can take a half hour long flight to Kathmandu, which is available every hour. If you travel by air you will get the opportunity to view the breathtaking Himalayan range.
But ,if you choose to travel by road, then the journey will take 5 to 6 hours and you will miss the panoramic view of the Himalaya. However, you will pass through beautiful villages and fields along the bank of the Trishuli River. Day 5: Departure from Kathmandu
