Day 1 Arrival at Kathmandu:

Day 2 Sightseeing at Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and Bhaktapur

 The first destination of the four day Kathmandu and Nagarkot tour is Boudhanath. This stupa is the largest of Nepal and is also the center of Tibetan Buddhism. The giant mandala of the Boudhanath represents a Buddhist cosmos.

The next destination of the four day tour of Kathmandu and Nagarkot is Pashupatinath temple located on the bank of holy river, Bagmati. The main attraction of the Pashupatinath is the temple of lord Shiva. The place is also regarded as the most sacred  for Hindus. There are several temples of different godss. The complex of the Pashupatinath has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979.

The last destination of the day is Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur represents the splendid golden age of Nepali art and architecture. The city built by King Anand Dev Mall in 9^th century was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979. The main attraction of the Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the intricately carved windows of the 55 window palace, Golden Gate, Nyatapol and Dattaraya temple.

As the evening approaches, you will be taken to Nagarkot and will stay there for the night while anticipating  a beautiful sunrise the next morning.

Day 3 Nagarkot and Sightseeing of Patan, Swayambhunath and Kathmandu:

 You will witness an amazing and magical view of the Sunrise over snow-capped mountains from Nagarkot. The beautiful view will mesmerize you and fill your heart with happiness.

The next destination of the Kathmandu and Nagarkot tour is Patan Durbar Square. It is one of the cultural heritage sites listed as a UNESCO world heritage site and reflects the rich art and architecture of medieval times. The major highlights of Durbar Square are the Malla Palace ( museum), Krishna Mandir, Golden temple, Royal Bath (Tushahity) and various Hindu and Buddhist temples.

A short drive will take you to the next stop of your Kathmandu and Nagarkot four day trip, which is Swayambhunath. It is also known as Monkey Temple and ‘Swayambhu’ means self created. It is believed that a hill emerged automatically from the great lake that once covered Kathmandu valley. You can witness a diversity of religion as you will see a Buddhist monk chanting prayers, while Hindu devotees worship their gods.

The next destination of Kathmandu and Nagarkot four day excursion is Kathmandu Durbar Square (Basantapur Durbar Square). It is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will see ancient temples, palaces, streets and courtyards, which date back to 12^th and 18^th centuries. The major highlights of the Durbar Square are Taleju temple, Kumari Ghar and Kaal Bhairav.

Day 4 Departure to Kathmandu:

If it’s your last day in Kathmandu then our representative will take you to the airport for your flight. If your staying longer, than you can enjoy other fun activities like jungle safari in National Park, rafting and trekking.
