Tour Packages Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)

Our guide will pick you up at the airport and escort to your hotel. The rest of the day is reserved for your rest.

Day 02: Kathmandu: sightseeing and trek preparation

The second day of your Annapurna and Everest view 17 Days trek starts with a trip to Kathmandu UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will visit Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath temple, Swyambhunath temple and other significant historical sights of the valley.

Day 03: Fly to Pokhara (823m/2,700ft) and trek to Ulleri (2050m/6725 ft): 30 min flight, 1 hour drive, 6 hours trek

You get up early in the morning, have your breakfast and take a scenic thirty-minute flight to Pokhara airport. Upon reaching the airport, you will be driven to Nayapul, where  the trek starts. Passing through sub-tropical forests and a path carved around the side of the ridge, you will reach Tikhedhunga. From Tikhedhunga, you climb  thousands of steps until you reach Ulleri.

Day 04: Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,750m/ 9,020 ft): 4 – 5 hours trek

Leaving Ulleri, you climb up to the Ghorepani village. Ghorepani is a place with small shops and stalls, which  sell local products and crafts. There are 2 parts to this village. You stop at the higher part that offers you the chance to take in the spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 05: Ghorepani to Tadapani (2,700m/8,860ft) with a visit to Poon Hill: 6 – 7 hours 

Annapurna Sunrise and Everest View Trek 17 Days’ 5th day rewards you with the mesmerizing views of the sunrise. You get up early in the morning and head towards the grand Poon Hill viewing point.

After observing the amazing views of Mustang, Pokhara and the grand Himalayan ranges from the Poon Hill viewpoint, you descend back to Ghorepani and head towards Tadapani, passing through rhododendron forests and cascading waterfalls.

Day 06: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m/6360 ft): 3 – 4 hours

Make a steep descent through the dark and thick rhododendron forests. After trekking  for several hours along the blooming rhododendron and cherry forests, you reach Ghandruk village, a hamlet with houses made of stone. This village provides you with  stunning views of Mt. FishTail, Himchuli mountains and  rich cultural traditions.

Day 07: Ghandruk to Pokhara: 4 hours trek and 1 hour drive

Annapurna Sunrise and Everest View Trek’s 7th day is a  mostly downhill trail. From Ghandruk village, you descend back to Pokhara. Descending along the stairs paved with stone slabs and wandering in and out of the village, you reach the Modi Khola River Valley. From Birethanti, you walk for about half-an-hour to Nayapul, from where you will be driven back to Pokhara.

Day 08: Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu: 30 mins flight

You enjoy a scenic thirty minute flight back to Kathmandu. You can enjoy roaming around the rest of the day.

Day 09: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla, trek to Phakding (8,700ft): 40 mins flight, 3 – 4 hours trek

Enjoy an electrifying 30-minute flight to Lukla airport. You meet our guide at the airport and soon your adventurous trek in the Everest Region begins. Climb up to the Dudh Koshi Valley and then spend the night in Phakding.

Day 10: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft): 5-6 hours

The route leading to Namche takes you along the Dudh Koshi River Valley, passing through the incredibly beautiful pine forests and high suspension bridges. On a clear day, you can catch a glimpse of Everest peering over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. After walking for some hours, you reach Monjo, an entrance point of the Sagarmatha National Park. After spending great leisure time at Monjo, you cross the Hilary bridge and enjoy an uphill walk to Namche Bazaar.

Day 11: Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,283 ft): Acclimatization Day

The 11th day of your 17 days Annapurna Sunrise and Everest View Trek is a rest day for exploration and acclimatization. You can roam around Namche’s busy markets and experience the Sherpa’s rich culture and traditions. You can also visit the local museum that displays local flora and fauna along with the history of the Mt. Everest region.

Day 12: Namche Bazaar to Khumjung (3,810 m/12500 ft): 4 hours

Today’s trek begins with an ascent to the popular airstrip at Syangboche. From here, you will continue ascending to Khumjung village. The Khumjung village is enclosed by Kongde, Thamaserku and the holy Khumbila peaks. This village also  offers you the chance to explore the Edmund Hilary School and Khumjung Monastery.

Day 13: Khumjung to Tengboche (3,870m/12694ft): 4 – 5 hours

Today, you descend to the Dudhkoshi River, passing through enchanting villages. You then walk along a forest to make your way to a riverbed. From here, you aascend for about two hours through fir and pine forests to reach Tengboche village. Here you are provided with the opportunity to visit the Tengboche Gumba in the village and soak up the panoramic views of the Himalayas.

Day 14: Tengboche to Monjo (2,950m/9,676ft): 6 – 7 hours

The 14th day of your Annapurna Sunrise and Everest View 17 Days’ trek is mostly downhill. You walk on a trail that passes through hillsides covered with rhododendron woods. You then cross the Dudhkoshi River and descend alongside the Dudhkoshi gorge, watching mountain goats and snow leopards.

Next, you pass a Chorten shortly before you reach Namche Bazaar. From Namche, you take a steady descent and cross a few bridges before reaching Monjo.

Day 15: Monjo to Lukla: 5- 6 hours

The Annapurna Sunrise and Everest View Trek’s trail on the 15th day descends steeply to Lukla, passing through Phakding and Chopling villages. This is your last day in the Everest region.

Day 16: Fly to Kathmandu

 You pack up and take an early flight to Kathmandu. You have the rest of the day off or you can enjoy strolling around and soaking up the surrounding atmosphere.

Day 17: Final departure
