Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
The flight to Kathmanduon a clear day is mesmerizing. Our support team will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is reserved for your rest.
Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
The Annapurna Circle Manag 14 Days Trek’s second day begins with a trip to Kathmandu UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will visit Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath temple, Swayambhunath temple and other historical sights of Kathmandu valley.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syange (1100m/3608 ft): 8 – 10 hours
You take a long and picturesque drive to Syange, enjoying the rustic parts of Nepal with its attractive green hills, terraced landscapes and twisting rivers.
Day 04: Trek from Syange to Dharapani (1,960m/6,430ft): 7 – 8 hours
Today, you cross a large bridge near Tal, passing through farmyards and waterfalls to reach the Manag district. Walking along the Kodo village, the largest village in the Manag valley, you reach Dharapani, which is where you spend the night.
Day 05: Dharapani to Chame (2,710m/8,891ft): 5 – 6 hours
Annapurna Circle 14 Days Trek via Manag’s 5th day takes you to Chame, via steep forested ridges and many landslide prone areas. The trail treats you with spectacular views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II and a beautiful hot spring.
Day 06: Chame to Pisang (3,300m/10824ft): 5 – 6 hours
Ywalk along a sharp and narrow valley to reach a mysterious rock face called Paungda Danda, which rises 1,500m from the river. Here, you can observe the excellent scenery of the surrounding area and then descend to Pisang, where you will find enchanting panoramas.
Day 07: Pisang to Manang (3,500m/11,482ft): 6 – 7 hours
Leaving Pisang, follow the trail that passes through Upper Pisang, exploring the awe-inspiring views of the majestic peaks that surround you. The climate becomes colder and drier as you near Manag. You will also be treated to a short trip to the holy Barge Monastery.
Day 08: Manang: Acclimatization day
The 8th day of your 14 days Annapurna Circle Trek via Manag is a rest day for exploration and acclimatization. You can visit either Gangapurna lake or Bhojo Gumba.
If you’ve got more stamina, then you can hike to Vrga Village and take some valuable information about Acute Mountain Sickness from the Himalayan Rescue Association.
Day 09: Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484ft): 3 – 4 hours
Leaving Manag village, you start to climb out of the Marshyangdi Valley, crossing a stream and then Tenki village. The trail continuously gains altitude as it passes several meadows and juniper woods. Further on, you walk along the pastures to the Yak Kharka village, passing through a river and an antique Mani wall.
Day 10: Yak kharka to Thorang Phedi: (4420m/14501ft): 3-4 hours)
The 14 Days Annapurna circle trek via Manag’s 10th day starts with an uphill hike to Thorang Phedi. You walk for some time until you reach Ledar village. From Ledar village, you continue ascending to the Thorang Phedi passing through towering cliffs. The trail provides you with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Day 11: Trek to Thorong La (5416m/17764ft) to Muktinath (3,800/12,467ft) then drive to Jomsom: 7 – 8 hours trek, 1 hour drive
Thorong La Pass is one of the highest passes in the world. Crossing the incredible Pass is the ultimate goal of the day. You cross the pass from east to west, which is the safest and easiest direction, before ascending to the top of the mountain and heading towards Muktinath Valley. Next, you will be driven to the Himalayan Jomsom village, which is popular for its fresh and yummy apples.
Day 12: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara: 25 minutes
You get up early in the morning and take the earliest possible flight to Pokhara. You can enjoy roaming around or just resting on this day.
Day 13: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu: 5-6 hours
