Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
It is exceptionally scenic flying into Kathmandu on a clear day. For your comfort, our support team will meet you at the airport and guide you to your hotel. The rest of the day is reserved for rest/leisure.
Day 2: Sightseeing tour of Boudhanath, Pashupatinath & Patan
The second day of our Langtang Trek 11 Days starts with a tour to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Valley. These sites include: Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath and other historic sights of Patan. These historical sites exhibit the ancient cultures, arts and crafts of the Nepali people.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Syabru Besi [1400m]
Today, you take a 9-hour drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi. After driving for 30 kms, you reach unspoiled villages nestled on the shores of the Trishuli River. From here, you get to experience captivating scenes of mountains, including the Annapurnas and Ganesh Himal.
Day 4: Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel [2748m]
From Syabru Besi, the trail takes you past terraced fields and thick woods that are home to a wide range of plant species. On the trail, you may get to see yellow-throated marten, red panda and Himalayan Black Bears.
Further on, you cross a stream that takes Lama Hotel. You will pass cascading waterfalls and small tea shops along the way.
Day 5: Trek to Langtang village [3500m]
You continue to climb above Langtang Khola along the steep trail, experiencing beautiful views of Langtang Lirung (7246m), the highest peak of the Langtang region.
Passing through a lush meadow of Ghora Tabela, you arrive at a wide valley of yak pastures and scattered Tamang villages. Here, you get to observe the water-driven mills and prayer wheels.
After crossing a stream at the height of 3500m, you arrive at Langtang Village, where you get to see the beautiful flat-roofed Tibetan style houses.
Day 6: Trek to Kyangjin [3800m]
From Langtang village, the route gradually takes you through interesting yak meadows and on to Singdun. Further on, you cross a wooden beam bridge, climb a moraine and arrive at a wide valley.
From here, you continue to ascend along the mountain passes to Kyagjin Gompa. In this village you get to visit a monastery and a government-operated cheese factory.
Day 7: Exploration in Kyangjin
The 7th day of your 11 Days Langtang Trek is a rest day for your own leisure and exploration. It is the perfect day to explore the nearby monastery and cheese factory. You can even climb up to Kyangjin Ri viewpoint (4350m), from where you can check out the stunning views of snow-capped mountains.
Day 8: Trek to Lama Hotel [2784M]
From Kyangjin, you follow the trail that descends back to Lama Hotel. Passing Langtang Khola and Langtang village, you arrive at Ghora Tabela and have lunch. After lunch, you continue to climb down until you reach Lama Hotel.
Day 9: Syabru Besi [1400m]
Leaving Lama Hotel, you trek back to Syabru Besi, passing through the fascinating Tamang villages. These unique and captivating villages offer you the chance to experience their unique lifestyle and rich ancient culture.
Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu
Today, you will conclude your trip with a 9-hour drive back to Kathmandu from Syabru Beshi.
Day 11: Depart Kathmandu
Your 11 Days Langtang Trek comes to an end. For your convenience, our support team will take you to the airport for your flight back home. You are going to leave Nepal with an experience of a lifetime.
